Light Weldmesh is used in both indoor and outdoor applications.

It is often found in industries ranging from Agriculture, Infrastructure, Construction, Retail and Horticulture.

Light gauge weldmesh tends to be used in industries which require a smaller hole size mesh. As light weldmesh is constructed using thinner wire, the hole size can also be smaller to reflect this.

We are able to offer weldmesh with holes as small as ¼” (6.5mm approximately). which means it is able to offer something the heavier weldmesh panels cannot.

Along with the smaller hole size options, Light weldmesh is also easier to work with and manipulate.

Light weldmesh is preferred when working in either confined spaces or generally more intricate applications.

Applications can range from Air Filtration, Pest Control, Gardening, Aviaries, and Poultry Runs.

Light weldmesh is available in a variety of different materials or coatings, these range from Stainless steel, PVC coated and galvanised finishes.

Manufactured in a range of wire diameters ranging from - 1.6mm to 0.7mm.

Hot Dip Galvanised Weldmesh is made from electro-welded hot dipped zinc-coated wire with rectangular or square mesh, both the vertical and horizontal wires are zinc coated to prevent steel from corroding.

Hot dip galvanised weldmesh offers a good lifespan when installed in normal conditions. Hot dip galvanised light weldmesh panels are used in a range of applications such as:

Aviaries & Enclosures, Engineering, Pest Control, Energy & Infrastructure and Agriculture.

PVC Coated weldmesh with galvanised steel wire core, and a PVC plastic coated exterior.

The smooth plastic coating offers both an attractive finish as well as an increased lifespan of up to 10 year (if used in normal conditions).

Applications can range from Residential, Construction, Filtration, Pest Control and Engineering.

Stainless Steel Weldmesh is renowned for its high corrosion resistance.

It offers a longer lifespan than that of galvanised steel weldmesh.

The most common grade stocked would be Grade 304.

Applications can range from Construction, Transportation, Pest Control, Agriculture, Horticulture and other service sectors.
